INTENDED USE: Positive tissue controls should only be utilized for monitoring the correct performance of processed tissues and test reagents, rather than as an aid in the interpretation of samples. If the positive tissue controls fail to demonstrate positive staining, results with the test specimens should be considered invalid.

Delivery Time: In most cases, positive control slides are made to order and fresh cut with a lead time of 7-10 business days.
Microscope slides used are made of super white glass and electrically coated
- High quality glass avoids autofluorescence
- Ensures proper tissue section adhesion to the slide surface and avoids the loss of valuable tissue
All tissues are FFPE human tissues
- The intended use of control slides is to qualitatively assess the performance of the special stain and not for quantitative purposes.
Standard tissue placement: the mid-high on slide
- Save expensive reagent
- Allow the placement of patient and control tissue on the same slide.
All unstained tissue sections were air dried unless otherwise specified
- Allow laboratories to dry the section with or without heat according to their own needs.
- Reduce the exposure of control tissue to the heat drying procedure to preserve and potentially increase tissue reactivity.
